How Soulful Women Trip Themselves Up

What do we do when the issues facing our world seem so immense – that sometimes it seems none of us can ever hope to make a dent or a difference? When it seems like every news article, conversation we have, or social media post we read there’s doom, gloom and catastrophe just waiting to knock the wind out of our sails?

This year there have been SO many moments that I’ve utterly lost my shiz, screaming into the abyss about the state of the world – from the macro-level of cruelty and stupidity that we’re presently seeing dismantled (exit stage left, Trump), right through to the very personal heartbreak of not being able to celebrate my niece’s 2nd birthday with her in Singapore, or not hugging another human for weeks while in lockdown (I know, so minor in comparison to so many other’s experiences – but upsetting all the same).

Throughout this incredibly tumultuous time though, I’ve felt a steadfast and deep abiding sense of peace, security, and dare I say it – joy.

Using the plethora of tools and techniques I have cultivated and honed over many years (including the embodiment of my personal light grid) I have felt SO HELD, loved, and have truly thrived. Which is a hugely privileged position to be in, and the multi-layered reasons why this is, is absolutely not lost on me (being white, cis-gendered, able-bodied, plus plus plus so much more privilege).

But what I do know to be true, is that while a lot of things may be out of our hands – and many of us get huge head starts – our personal energetic sovereignty, our frequency, our stellar souls, our inner alignment, and light is absolutely within our control – it is our birthright. And getting this part of ourselves sorted can truly lead to epic magic beyond our comprehension.

So often, we think that we need to get everything external to us in place first (boxes ticked, ducks lined up, you know the drill) and then (only then) do we feel better and more at ease – but I’m here to tell you that it truly doesn’t work like that.

There is a revolution stirring, that I firmly believe has been initiated by the global pandemic we’re now experiencing, and it’s an invitation to lay the foundations of new earth from the inside out. Beginning with deep intimacy with our own, powerful, creator selves. We’re being asked to stop anchoring into the certainty of all things external, and instead anchoring within the certainty of ourselves.

We’re being asked to put in time, effort, and resources to the most significant asset we’ll ever have in this life (US), and specifically our energetic frequency and its richness – and then serve the world FROM THAT PLACE.

Let me assure you – you bringing the energy and frequency of new earth into your body, anchoring it here on earth, and then serving from here, in whatever capacity you currently find yourself in: mother, full-time/part-time worker, creative, side-hustler, soul business entrepreneur, – is the ONLY way we’re going to collectively shift humanity into higher levels of awareness and timelines of potential beyond the limited perspectives that currently dog our planet.

Yes, you are that powerful.

Yes, you can witness, be present to and help dismantle the systems of oppression and discrimination in our world AND still be able to tap into the ecstasy of your highest potential.

Yes, you can tend to minor or major traumas within yourself, AND be able to access the joy that IS your natural soul state.

Yes, you DO contribute to the growing light in our world by doing the inner work required to fine-tune your frequency and stay out of fear as much as possible.

And I can see you there, nodding away internally as you read each of these points. But, can you really FEEL the truth within you? The deep knowing of the truth of these statements?

Because one of the most significant issues I’ve witnessed amongst soulful women is that they have the ability to intellectually understand concepts – spiritual truths can roll off their tongues with ease – but they struggle to make these truths a deeply embodied KNOWING.

And it’s the journey from knowing a concept to fully feeling the truth of a concept that is the CRITICAL area where soulful women trip themselves up.

Because it’s THAT critical shift that creates true existential magic.
